Safe House Programme
- To take in vulnerable children.
- To act as temporary placement for children before placing a child in a child ad youth care facility or to be adopted, placing in foster care or to be re-united with their family of origin.
Child Abuse Assessment Programme
Reported cases of child abuse take priority and requires a registered Social Worker with appropriate skills and knowledge to conduct a child-cantered and child-friendly assessment. The purpose of the child abuse assessment programme is to use well researched techniques to assess the type of abuse, the intensity and experience by the child as well as the child’s coping mechanism. A treatment programme is developed for every child after the assessment has provided relevant information regarding the type, extent, duration and severity of the abuse.
